Workshop at OM Sanctuary: Self-Help for Vitality & Youth
Date: Saturday, November 22, 2014
Time: 2-5pm
Cost: $50 includes handouts
During this 3-hour workshop being held at beautiful OM Sanctuary, participants will explore the ability to better know and help themselves by learning simple, hands-on sequences or “flows” to create and maintain balance and harmony for mind, body and spirit. We will focus on flows recommended for daily use to boost and maintain our overall level of energy and vitality, and we’ll also explore and learn how to work with the energy flows that run through our face and neck to reduce the signs of aging.
The workshop will be conducted in a fun, light-hearted atmosphere where participants are encouraged to share and get to know one another in a supportive way. Printed handouts will be provided so participants can easily continue using the flows discussed on their own going forward.
Self-Help Study Group on 2nd & 4th Wednesdays
One of the most beautiful components of Jin Shin Jyutsu® is the ability to help ourselves and others with simple hands-on “flows” and holds. We have the potential to repair injuries, and reduce or eliminate our daily aches and pains, with nothing more than our own two hands, time, and a little awareness of how to work with our energetic body.
If you would like to learn simple ways to help yourself stay in balance, and reduce daily aches and pains, as well as the aging process, please join me for this Self-Help Study Group twice a month, or as often as you are able. We'll explore stories of self-healing and the flows included in the book shown here, The Touch of Healing, which I highly recommend to anyone interested in learning more about Jin Shin Jyutsu.
When? 2nd & 4th Wednesdays from 12:00 – 1:00pm
September 10th & 24th, October 8th & 22nd, Nov. 12 (no meeting on Nov. 26)
Where? Westgate Earthfare, in side dining room
What else you need to know?
Even though the flows and hand placements we discuss are fairly simple, we tend to cover a lot during our time together, which can make it difficult to remember what to do when you get home. So, please bring materials to take notes so you can remember what we share and learn during the study group each week. And, if you have a copy of The Touch of Healing, please bring that along for reference too. Donations are requested, but not required.
